Danny Granger, Jr. was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the first round in 2005 and is playing his fourth season with the Indiana Pacers. He is currently the team’s leading scorer and was a 2009 NBA All-Star. He attended the University of New Mexico where as a senior; Danny was nominated for the 2005 Bayer Advantage Senior CLASS Award, which recognizes student-athletes for great achievement on the court and in the classroom while staying in school. He was a four-year letterman at Metairie, Louisiana’s Grace King High School and averaged 24.3 ppg, 12 rpg and 5.5 bpg as a senior. He graduated in the top-10 percent of his class and was a State finalist for the 2000 Wendy’s Heisman in recognition of both his academic and athletic accomplishments.
Danny is introducing his basketball camp to Indianapolis for the first time this summer, as in previous years he hosted camps in New Mexico. The summer of 2008 he took part in an NBA Cares basketball camp in Indonesia and is set to travel to Switzerland to host a basketball camp this summer.
